Many parents find themselves managing parenting, career transitions, aging parents, changing family dynamics, health concerns, or a sense of lost direction or purpose. It’s common to experience increased stress, burnout, or questions about identity and fulfillment. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore these changes, make sense of complex emotions, and reconnect with what matters most. With guidance, juggling all the responsibilities that come with parenting can become not just a time of struggle — but a powerful opportunity for growth, clarity, and renewal.
Many men and women don’t expect to struggle emotionally after the birth of a child—but when they do, it deserves to be taken seriously. Our process begins by understanding your story, your pressures, and the ways you’ve been coping. Through thoughtful dialogue and careful screening, we uncover whether postpartum depression or related concerns are part of your experience—so we can support you in a way that truly fits.
Treatment for Parenting Stress
We provide evidence-based therapy for coping with parental stressors that is tailored to each client.
At Welcome in Psychology Group, we offer compassionate, evidence-based treatment for parenting stress for adults (18+) to increase hope and improve well-being.
Most parents agree that life before and after children feels like two entirely different worlds. The mental load of managing family schedules, emotional labor, work-life balance, and the pressure to “get it right” for your children can be intense and all-consuming. At the same time, adulthood often brings its own set of challenges—persistent aches and pains, social circles that revolve around your kids' activities, and little time for yourself.
Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and recalibrate. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be fueling stress and build more intentional, sustainable ways to support your mental health.
